A Dreamy Engagement Session at Norfolk Botanical Garden | Virginia Beach Photographer

This week, I had the absolute joy of capturing Elizabeth and Thomas’s engagement session at the stunning Norfolk Botanical Garden. As a Virginia wedding and engagement photographer, there’s nothing more exciting than photographing a couple so genuinely in love—especially in a place as vibrant and romantic as this.

From the moment we arrived, it felt like the gardens were putting on a show just for us. Spring was in full bloom—colorful tulips stretched toward the sky, cherry blossoms fluttered in the breeze, and lush green paths invited us to explore every beautiful corner. Norfolk Botanical Garden is such a dream location for engagement photos, and it’s one of my favorite places to photograph couples in Hampton Roads.

Elizabeth and Thomas were naturals in front of the camera. Their laughter was infectious, and their chemistry was undeniable. Whether they were walking hand-in-hand next to the blooming azaleas or sharing a quiet moment by the water’s edge, every photo told a piece of their story. These two made my job so easy with their joy, playfulness, and love for one another.
