After hearing your requests for affordable family photography sessions, I’ve created a series of limited summer mini sessions—each at a unique and beautiful location across Virginia Beach, Chesapeake, and beyond. Whether you’re a local or visiting the area, there’s a style and setting here for everyone!
At Tashena Shaw Photography, I believe that everyone deserves to have their moments captured—without breaking the bank. That’s why these mini sessions are carefully curated to offer a variety of looks and vibes, from beachy shores to lush greenery, vibrant murals, cozy porches, and even whimsical greenhouse studios.
Each date has a set number of time slots, with no additional dates being added. My 2025 summer calendar is already filling up, so this is your exclusive chance to grab one of these unique sessions!

July 16th – Sandbridge Beach, Virginia Beach – 6:30pm to 7:20pm

July 23rd – Backyard Wildflower Patch – Chesapeake – After 6:00pm (TBD)

August 6th – Greenhouse, Chesapeake – After 6:00pm (TBD)

How to Book
To secure your spot, a $50 non-refundable retainer and a signed contract are required. These mini sessions cannot be combined with any past or future sales, as they are already specially priced to offer affordable photography options for every family.
Each session also includes a rain date scheduled for the following day, so you won’t have to worry about unpredictable summer weather.
These are limited dates and limited spots, and once they’re gone—they’re gone! I created this summer schedule to make professional family photography in Virginia Beach and Chesapeake accessible to everyone, and I can’t wait to capture your memories.
