On Saturday, May 31st, 2025, Elizabeth and Thomas said “I do” surrounded by their closest family and friends at the stunning Venue at Cahoon in Chesapeake, Virginia. A Beautiful Beginning
The day began with so much love in the air. Elizabeth was surrounded by her bridesmaids, smiling and getting ready with excitement and joyful anticipation. Her gown was timeless and elegant, perfectly reflecting her sweet spirit. Thomas, calm and collected, looked dapper as ever, but the way his eyes lit up the moment he saw his bride was truly magic.
From the very beginning, you could feel the love—not just between Elizabeth and Thomas—but from every guest, every hug, every happy tear. These are the moments I live to capture as a Hampton Roads wedding photographer.
Weathering the Storm
Just before the reception fun began, a storm rolled in—heavy clouds and even a little thunder. But not for a moment did it dim the joy of the day. With grace and positivity, the couple and their guests embraced it all. And by the time portraits began, the storm gave way to the most breathtaking sunset I’ve seen this year.
As the sky opened up with soft golden hues and pinks that wrapped around the horizon, we captured the kind of portraits photographers dream about. Elizabeth and Thomas glowed—wrapped in each other’s arms, kissed by the sun, and overflowing with love. A Night to Remember
Inside The Venue at Cahoon, the celebration continued. With its cozy charm and modern elegance, the space was the perfect setting for a joyful reception. The food, provided by Creative Catering of Virginia, was absolutely delicious—every bite thoughtfully crafted and full of flavor.
Rachel Bakes delivered the most stunning and scrumptious cake that guests couldn’t stop talking about. Every detail, from the florals to the table décor, created an atmosphere that was both romantic and fun.
And then there was the dance floor. DJ Karizam brought the energy like no other! From Taylor Swift sing-alongs to classic old-school hits, not a single guest could resist joining in. The dance floor stayed alive all night long with laughter, happy feet, and even a few impromptu dance battles.
Heartfelt Gratitude
