One of the greatest joys of being a photographer in Chesapeake, Virginia, is getting to build lasting relationships with the families I photograph—and this beautiful extended family is no exception. Over the past year alone, I’ve had the absolute honor of capturing so many meaningful moments for them. From individual family portraits to sweet seasonal sessions, they’ve truly become a special part of my photography journey.
This time, we met at the always stunning Fair Weather Farms in Chesapeake, Virginia, for a full extended family session. The greenhouse offered the perfect backdrop for a day full of laughter, hugs, and unforgettable memories. It was such a joy to see grandma, grandpa, and their aunt join in on the fun—bringing together generations in one session that overflowed with love.
What made this session so special wasn’t just the gorgeous location or perfect light—it was the warmth and connection between every single family member. These are the kinds of sessions that remind me exactly why I love what I do.
I’m so thankful for the opportunity to capture these moments and preserve their story through my lens. I already can’t wait to see them again for another family session in the future!
