There is something magical about photographing little ones in the middle of nature. This recent wildflower session in Chesapeake and The Backyard Wildflower Patch was one of those moments that reminded me why I love what I do.
This cutie pie’s little smile could light up a room, and his laughter was so infectious it filled the field with joy. Every time I’ve had the honor of seeing him, he’s always full of happiness—and this session was no exception.
The wildflowers were in full bloom, the golden light wrapped around us, and the sky had a stormy, dramatic look that added so much beauty. But with this little one’s laughter and energy, it was as if the sky had no choice but to hold out for his session. The combination of the golden light, the colorful blooms, and his sweet spirit created the perfect setting for timeless memories.
As a photographer, one of my greatest treasures is capturing returning clients and documenting their little ones as they grow. These photos are more than just pictures—they’re memories that moms can hold onto forever. Because let’s be honest, as moms, we’re often behind the camera, and time moves far too fast.
