This week I had the absolute joy of capturing an engagement session in the Vibe Creative District in Virginia Beach, and let me tell you—it was everything I love about photographing couples. This sweet pair wanted something unique for their photos, and together we created a session that was not only romantic but also full of fun, laughter, and personality.
One of my favorite things about engagement photography is how each couple brings their own style and story into the session. These two did just that! From bike rides through the colorful streets of the Vibe District to sharing sweet moments side by side, their photos reflect exactly who they are—joyful, adventurous, and deeply in love.
The Vibe Creative District in Virginia Beach is such an incredible spot for couples looking for something different than the traditional beach session. With its vibrant murals, eclectic charm, and plenty of places to wander, it truly creates the perfect backdrop for playful engagement photos.
As the session went on, these two leaned into the fun of it all—sharing ice cream, laughing at little inside jokes, and just enjoying every moment together. And to wrap things up in the sweetest way possible, we made a stop at Lolly’s Creamery for their signature s’mores ice cream. Between the cold treat and their laughter, it was the perfect ending to a day filled with love and joy.
