Yesterday, I had the honor of capturing Dariana and Jomar’s Catholic Marriage Convalidation at St. Luke’s Catholic Church in Virginia Beach, Virginia. As a nor’easter was beginning to make its way toward the coast, we all watched the skies and prayed for calm weather — and God truly delivered. The winds remained soft, the rain stayed away, and the clouds created the most beautiful, diffused light that every photographer dreams of.
That perfect, soft light allowed us to take our time capturing the sweetest bride and groom portraits, heartfelt family photos, and the meaningful little wedding details that tell the story of a day filled with love, grace, and devotion.
Inside St. Luke’s, the church was filled with close family and friends who gathered to witness and celebrate this sacred moment in Dariana and Jomar’s marriage journey. The ceremony was intimate yet powerful — a reminder that no matter how small or simple a celebration may seem, every milestone in marriage deserves to be remembered and cherished.
